Huawei’s new tri-fold smartphone model was spotted again today. The tri-fold Huawei model, which was seen completely open the other day, has now been seen folded. So how does it look? Is it too thick when folded? Here’s the answer…
Huawei CEO has been using the tri-fold phone for a long time!
Huawei is one of the brands that has made a name for itself in the market with its foldable Mate X models. However, this time the company is not working on a phone that folds in half, but on a tri-fold phone. In fact, the work has been completed and the testing phase is ongoing.
Huawei CEO Yu Richard, who was spotted using Huawei’s tri-fold model on a plane trip last week, was officially on the agenda. The tri-fold Huawei model, which resembles a tablet with its size when open, has now been spotted folded. The foldable model, which is claimed to be 5 mm thick when open, will be 15 mm thick when closed. In other words, it is twice as thick as a phone.
For now, there is no information about Huawei’s tri-fold model in terms of technical specifications. However, when looking at the images, it seems that there is a circular camera island on the back. This island, which will probably be filled with three cameras, will host high-quality sensors due to the segment of the device. On the inside, we know from leaks that the device will carry a 10-inch screen, and it will be released with all its features in September.
What did you think of Huawei’s new tri-fold smartphone model? Do you think it’s too thick? You can express your opinions in the comments.
